Could you please give us some information about your team? What are your expectations for the MYM PriDe#8 tournament?

MYM|slahser: I feel we have a very strong team, able to beat anyone.Though we do sometimes have bad days, and our biggest weakness may bethat we have so many different nationalities in the team. For MYM Pride8, i hope we will have some very interesting matches. I hope we willget a rematch with VP, preferably in the finals, and then do a betterjob against them than last time.

If you would have todescribe the character of each of your clanmates with a maximum of only3 words - which words would you use?

MYM|slahser: maelk -strong leadership, merlini - quiet & calm, mania - charismatic,levent - down to earth, hanni - german.

Do you think that there are any teams that could have some kind of breakthrough during this tournament?

MYM|slahser: Well thats up to how you define breakthrough, but i thinkthere is definitely potential in most of the teams. I am actually quitesuprised how much the general skill level has risen, and i think in thetop 10 teams in the world, on a good/bad day, everyone can beat eachother.

How often do you train? Or would it be easier for you to answer, 'How often don't you train?'

MYM|slahser: Well i try to train everyday, but it can really vary alot.Sometimes i can use atleast 6 hours a day playing DotA, other days ican be busy with school and not play for two days. Though i try tomaintain playing in an average 3-4 hours a day, and alot more in thevacations.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

MYM|slahser: Well i am studying along side with playing DotA, and iwill always take both things seriously. Some of my friends know i playDotA at a high plan, and they mostly think its cool. My family justrecently figured out i am serious about my gaming, since i am going toSweden (dreamhack) in a couple of weeks. In short, it has mainly beenpositive.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

MYM|slahser: My worst and my most exciting moment was both in the firstgame against VP in the finals. I went solo top with potm, and at aboutthe 3 minute mark, i had a huge lag spike. To avoid dropping, i tabbedout and tried fixing it. While i was fixing it, i apparently stoppedlagging, and the game continued, even though i was clearly not movingmy hero. I was then killed, and void managed to get FB at level 1. Thatwas just f*cked up.

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

MYM|slahser: I think if you get busted maphacking in any leagues, youshould be permanently banned, no exceptions. Currently it is almostimpossible proving someone is maphacking if they are just a littleclever, and it completely destroys a game if you suspect someone frommaphacking and have to work against that in your gameplay. Beginning toask yourself questions like "Should i even bother ganking him?" becauseof MH is just sad.

But it will always be there, and i don'tbelieve we will ever get completely rid of it. People claim that theycan make anti maphack secure programs, but i doubt they will ever becompletely secure.

Though you can limit the problem, and one wayto start is never to let old maphackers in. Firstly it sets a badexample and can be tempting for weak people considering using a maphackto get a edge.
Secondly, i wouldn't go as far saying we have enoughproblems with maphack as it is, but it is still present in the scene,no doubt about that.

What do you think about allowing to backdoor the first two towers on each line in the next MYM PriDe Tournament?

MYM|slahser: I have not ever tried to playing with a rule like that,but it sounds interesting and can open up a whole new form of strategy.I think it is something that should be tested alot before, to comparethe disadvantages and advantages.

Could you please give us some information about your team? What are your expectations for the MYM PriDe#8 tournament?

SK|Drayich: SK right now is a strong team, we're working on teaming upa bit right now and due to all the tournaments that are running i hopewere gonna get the top spirit for mym8.

SK|Drayich: Tompa -Whine, Wards, Twinhead, Kwom - Ganger, Carry, Sandking, Loda - Farm,Triplekill, Void, Renji - Micha Barton, Support, Lina, Akke -Vitbooster, Tant, Leshrac.

Do you think that there are any teams that could have some kind of breakthrough during this tournament?

SK|Drayich: I think we should take a look at the russian teams, tN, RM,Traffic, they could all do good, but not winning the tour or anything.We're gonna get some group winners or teams finishing second, but idont think any of the none-seeded teams is gonna finish better then top8.

How often do you train? Or would it be easier for you to answer, 'How often don't you train?'

SK|Drayich: We practice 2-3 games a week as clanwars. Otherwise its inhouses which is going on each day.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

SK|Drayich: They accept and respect it. I have both a wife and a son,and it works doing both if you have a good dialogue at home. If i havea serious game I'm 'allowed' to go aside for that time and play. Butrest of the time im a father, which basicly means that when my son isat home and i dont have a serious game - I dont play. It wouldnt workeven if I did either, since its diper changes and cooking, but he'sgoing to bed at 19.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

SK|Drayich: Meeting up with all the people at Dreamhack was one of thebest moments for me atleast. It was really great meeting all the peoplethat you earlier just played online with.

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

SK|Drayich: The goal is to have no cheaters, if someone cheats anywayhe needs to be helped so he never do it again. If we can remove 1cheater instead of removing 1 player from the scene thats always thebest choice, however cheating is the worst thing you can do in e-sports.

What do you think about allowing to backdoor the first two towers on each line in the next MYM PriDe Tournament?

SK|Drayich: What do you think about men being born with breasts fromnext decade? I mean, why change something that already works, it wouldtake some time to get used to, but it should prolly work in the endalso.

sP.pUB[palit] : Last Pride we did very badly actually (losing in top-16if im not mistaken). But such a downfall did a good favour for us. Wetook it more seriously, began to train as a team, and now we are inmuch better shape than before. Of course we are aiming as usual fortop-1 (i wanted to be triple mym winner too long xD). Lets see how itgoes.

sP.pUB[palit] : LightofHeaven - strategy, carry,allrounder, FocusIRE - solo-liner and main-carry player, Horon -strategy, supporter & ganker, plzgogame - very talented,crazyheaded (sometimes), solo-liner, Maniak - good friend, standing,GET-LOST (myself) - ganker/supporter & captain.

Do you think that there are any teams that could have some kind of breakthrough during this tournament?

sP.pUB[palit] : Nowadays a lot of new teams came into competitive sceneand can make a lot of "upsets" even for confirmed grands. But i dontwant to point out any team exactly

How often do you train? Or would it be easier for you to answer, 'How often don't you train?'

sP.pUB[palit] : Nice question! Before our last mym pride downfall I'd better answer the second part ofyour question. Now the first one is closer for us: we try to play somekind of fw every day.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

sP.pUB[palit] : heh I forgot to mention that focusire is my little bro and I guess itreally looks a bit weird for our parents that we both devote so muchtime to computer game xD speaking about myself - last year I'vegraduated from institute and with a friend of mine going to run our ownbusiness (but still i got enough time to devote to my lovely addictivegame). Most of my reallife friends are kinda far from computer games,but anyway some of them sometimes even visit lan-events we take partand really proud if we winning, though they hardly understand what'sgoing on xD.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

sP.pUB[palit] : Speaking about the most exciting situation in my dotacareer - for me it was the times i played on stage in finals of suchevents as ASUS and c58-league: having so many ppl staring at yourdisplay, watching your every move, feeling their support - everythingmakes you feel excited (it disturbs your focus on game but its worthit!)

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

sP.pUB[palit] : I think yes, I believe that people can change - butpunishment should be really severe. I assume that question arisedaccording to kanga's case, so speaking about that - I'd say 1 year ofban in competitive scene would be a nice solution.

What do you think about allowing to backdoor the first two towers on each line in the next MYM PriDe Tournament?

sP.pUB[palit] : I dont think that's a big deal - I think I get used to this pretty fast if it is implemented.

rB|SilentCat: Most of the dota scene know us as former D4 with someroster changes. Rwar and SOYCD left team, third_child and I joined, butbasically we're still the same team. I think we're a clan that has alot of talent, which we've proven by beating some of the best teams inthe world at the moment. About my expectations: personally I've alwaysbeen an optimist so I'd have to say top 8/top 4 at least. I think whatwe lack is a good multi-gaming clan to support.

rB|SilentCat: Krabe - (don't know how to say this without flaming T_T) - whine, whine, whine, but I still love him , D0c - really baaaaaaaaad connection ,i)arka - my favourite player, Fatal - quiet, supportive, fighter,Radensson - afk, away, busy, Jorge - pub boyfan lover, Third_Child -otaku, gamer, dancer, SkaM - my future wife.

Do you think that there are any teams that could have some kind of breakthrough during this tournament?

rB|SilentCat: BTB for example on last PD. I think they we're prettymuch unknown before the last prime defending. I've trained against thema lot before the prime defending with my ex clan pwny express. AlsoMiZen (now only Zenith as far as I know) beating VP (groupstage) and us(tiebreakers), even though they didn't pass the group strage, I thinktheir foes will now have the utmost respect for them.

How often do you train? Or would it be easier for you to answer, 'How often don't you train?'

rB|SilentCat: I think it's much easier to answer how often do wetrain.. I've been criticizing my team for not training a lot. Weusually train playing leagues, but sometimes we gather up and play afew scrims, but that is indeed not often. We're working on it.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

rB|SilentCat: Well, most of my friends and family are very supportive,especially my dad, he even watches me play sometimes. I know it soundsodd, but believe it or not he even recognizes players, teams. Most ofmy friends I met in dota are also my IRL friends, we hang out togethera lot. But playing dota (as well as any other computer game) on a"higher" level still has sacrifices. But I've never regretted playingit.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

rB|SilentCat: Well, I'd have to say LAN dota has always been real fun.When you win a LAN tournament, when you win a really tough match withyour teammates sitting next to you, it's a totally different feelingthan winning at home with your teammates on ventrilo. Even though Ilove the frenchies screaming "ALLEEZ".

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

rB|SilentCat: I think hackers should deserve a second chance but aftera year or even more, because a hacker will never change in only 2-3months, it's simply impossible.

rB|SilentCat: Well even though most of the teams aren't used tobackdoor, I think it should be allowed for the first two towers, or atleast when the tower is deniable.

Virtus|JoliE: We hope once again to take a title - as we until now arevery hungry by way of victories. Actually I am sure that we shall winagain, but tournament does not come to an end on the first place. And Iconsider that struggle for 2nd - 7th place will be very interesting.

Virtus|JoliE: MYM - as usually the strongest contender. Also acompetition will make XsK, SK, TeamQ.... Probably Asians from Zenithand Ks as Virtus.pro has not enough experience of game against theAsian school.

How often do you train? Or would it be easier for you to answer, 'How often don't you train?'

Virtus|JoliE: We often gather three - five together. Frequently we playtogether with friends not consisting in Virtus.pro. Well and places oftrainings - IHCS and High Level Room.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

Virtus|JoliE: Unfortunately, I cannot name professional career game ina DotA, let both so successful. Parents and other relatives are inearnest to my hobby not too, however they understand, that it is betterto be engaged in that which is pleasant to you. Therefore from theirparty I see a neutrality concerning DotA, that is rather logical,considering obvious pluses and minuses so not developed cyber-sport.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

Virtus|JoliE: The most intense game in my life is recollected. It wasthe first clan war on our local network. Our team has lost 4 barracks,but all the same has sustained, has not surrendered, and has wonagainst DOTA[Lucker]'s team.

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

Virtus|JoliE: Actually I do not strongly worry because of variousprograms of similar type. I did not see especially advantage at playerswho applied MH. However, use of such programs is infringement of rules- therefore for them and punishments are stipulated. As if to 2ndchance, I think Kanga and his followers have the right to it, but inany way on 3rd.

ieS.meetya: I'm currently playing for the german DotA squad of themultigaming clan ieS Virtual Gaming. We recently added 1 decent playerand 1 ugly kid to our roster; binh (former known as vae-BiglineR) andKuroKy. Unfortunately we've been in a pretty bad shape for the last fewweeks, but i hope we'll perform well at PriDe8 and will be able to makeit out of the group stage.

ieS.meetya: arya - chary, binh -vietnamese pizza boy, dotabunny - god_damn_hot (I'll get mass cybersexfor that statement), fire - aggressive/braindead, jack - likes avoidingconflicts, bad humor (sry, had to extend my word limit for that one),kuro - ninjaskilled ugly kid, manu - impulsive, nirv: kinda retarded.

Do you think that there are any teams that could have some kind of breakthrough during this tournament?

ieS.meetya: I'm sure there are teams that could have some kind ofbreakthrough, but I'm not able to name them since I only watch replaysof the "top" matches, so I realy dunno what teams we havent playedagainst/not in those reps are capable of.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

ieS.meetya: They don't give a damn.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

ieS.meetya: MYM PriDe#4 finals (mode=apdraft). I played for the germanDotA team WE (WorldEaters) and we managed to get into the finalsagainst DotA[xxx] by beating eNe, D4 and a russian clan with a weirdname I dont remember (something like MEDVED I dunno) in the playoffs.Even though it was bo1, we played 2 final games (I dropped in the firstgame and didnt have the save file). Both games were pretty even andprobably the 2 most exciting games I ever played (some of the readersmight remember the 'legendary' shoutcast by Zolex). Unfortunately welost but from that point on, WE was considered to be the best germanand a top international DotA team.

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

ieS.meetya: Well, I think in general they shud be punished prettyharsh. In the case of maphacking the evildoer should get banned fromall leagues/platforms for a pretty long period. And when they areunbanned they should have to take a screen at the end of every singlegame.

What do you think about allowing to backdoor the first two towers on each line in the next MYM PriDe Tournament?

ieS.meetya: Well, imo the only suggestive rule concerning backdoorwould be to allow to backdoor denyable towers (not sure whether it'salready allowed or not) - nothing more.

xLo|mO-: My team is very weird at times. I believe we have thepotential to beat a lot of the top teams since we have some reallyskilled players. We just need to scrim and practice, which we will dofor this tournament.

xLo|mO-: chu - crazy Korean kid, j0o - stoner: eddie - gay and proud, hustler - gangster #2 (I’m #1), Zaku - chill.

xLo|mO-: Hmm, I don’t really know many teams outside the seeded ones. Ithink hi2u is pretty solid now, they've been scrimming a lot.

How often do you train? Or would it be easier for you to answer, 'How often don't you train?'

xLo|mO-: That was the problem with our team, we almost never playedscrims or trained. Our match would be our first game together that weekusually. But now, I got them scrimming and playing a lot together.About 2 scrims a night.

What do your family and friends think about your 'professional' gaming career?

xLo|mO-: Lol, my smaller brother plays with us sometimes. Outside that,no one really knows I play professional. They think I sleep all day.

Could you please describe the best/funniest/most exciting situation in your DotA career to the readers?

xLo|mO-: Has to be the relic drop back in cal season. Our sylla bearfarmed a 20 min relic, and somehow dropped it where King came andninja’d it. Was pretty funny.

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

xLo|mO-: Banned till 2050 imo.

xLo|mO-: Don’t like backdooring of any sort. 5 people can just run upand kill the tower and other players wont be prepared since theywouldn’t see it coming and tping first into the tower is just suicide.

XsK|GunZ : No. There are only 4/5 teams that can win I think. Other teams dont have enough skill.

XsK|GunZ : We train whenever we have 4 or more players online which is pretty much all the time!

XsK|GunZ : 'Complete waste of time'

XsK|GunZ : Any time I lane with fanatic im laughing the whole time

How should hackers/cheaters be treated/punished according to your opinion? Do you think they deserve a 2nd chance?

XsK|GunZ : No. Keep kanga banned. Allowing them to play will only encourage more people to cheat.

XsK|GunZ : Theoretically, I don't think its a good idea. It will beinteresting to see how the DXD tournament turns out with this rulethough - It may prove some people wrong
