The International is drawing closer, and next week we will be releasing The International Compendium, along with a major balance update. Soon after that we will be announcing the teams that will be invited to The International.
Today, however, we would like to talk about our plans for improving the competitive landscape as a whole. As fans of the game, we love watching teams compete in high stakes tournaments, but we also recognize that there is room for improvement on a more structural level. While the lack of roster stability and major focal points during the year had its advantages, it has eventually come at the cost of fan engagement and competitive stability for the players.
The Dota Major Championships, starting this Fall, will be an annual series of four marquee tournaments, one being The International. The three additional tournaments will be Valve-sponsored events hosted by third-party organizers at different locations around the world. Teams that participate in these events will be required to adhere to limited roster trade periods during the year.
As the Fall event approaches, more tournament details will be announced.

Anyway Patch können sie ruhig vorziehen, wird Zeit das neue Helden OP werden. Wäre theoretisch mal Zeit für nen Pudgebuff. Wenn selbst Dendi den nicht mehr spielt. Bissl Armor erhöhen für die Laningphase und Curved Hooks wieder möglich machen -
PA buff, MoM und Lina nerf und der dota main steht wieder. Eventuell Manta buffen über kleine Mana- und Goldkosten Buffs.

Letztes Jahr konntest du auch den Ausgang des Qualifier tippen, der findet Ende Mai statt. Also sind es maximal 2-3 Wochen früher als sonst.

Lag für mich iwie eher an dem völlig überzogenen Qualifier als an den 4 Seasons. Haben sie diesmal verbessert und auch von den Teams her ist eigentlich alles dabei was Rang und Namen hat (außer EG ofc). Ich denke, wenn sie sich endlich mal zu direkten Invites durchringen könnten, würde es wohl noch etwas an Bedeutung (wieder) gewinnen. Ich seh für SL nicht so schwarz wie manche andern, wir werden sehen wohin die Reise geht.Der Horizont der meisten Menschen ist ein Kreis mit dem Radius 0. Wäre ja dennoch sinnvoll, die Turniere auf Westeuropa, Osteuropa und China zu verteilen oder nicht?
Hätte nach der regen "Ruiniert das TI die Dota2-Szene"-Diskussion ein wenig mehr Kommentare/Analysen erwartet, oder ist euch das allen zu unspezifisch um schon ein Urteil darüber zu fällen? -

Ok schlecht formuliert, es gab einfach viel Diskussion ob Valve etwas ändern muss und jz äußern sich wenige darüber, dass sie etwas ändern werden.

Ist _für mich_ einfach noch zu schwammig um darüber was zu sagen.
Finde changes in Richtung Valve-Einmischung grundsätzlich schlecht, bin für freie Szene.
Aber time will tell oder so~
