      bleib bei bracer, Magina braucht die Hitpoints.
      Das neue Hood of Defiance ist Pflicht für Magina.
      Darum

    • Spell resistance in DotA is a beautiful thing. It lets you take more of those nasty nukes flying towards your face and last longer in the battlefield.

      They're offered in four flavors:
      Cloak of the Planeswalker, which gives 15% more resistance
      Hood of Defiance, which gives 30% more resistance (among other things)
      Aegis of the Immortal, which gives 35% more resistance (among other things)
      and three skills from heroes.

      Now, how do we stack resistance?
      1. If you do not have a spell resistance skill, you can either buy a Cloak or assemble a Hood or an Aegis and that's that. That's as high as it will ever go. Second Aegises, Hoods and/or Cloaks will not offer additional bonuses to your resistance.

      2. If you do have a spell resistance skill, you have to assemble the final spell resistance item you want BEFORE TAKING EVEN ONE POINT IN THE SKILL. Let me repeat that - item first, skill second. This especially important for Aegis - getting a Cloak then getting points in the skill will let you stack it, but you will lose the stacking when the Cloak reforms as an Aegis.

      EDIT: Included resistance numbers when using just the skill and no items.

      @Manic: I included the item stats on the other table because in Netherdrake and Pudge's case, the progression isn't linear.

      Spell Resistance Stats from highest to lowest

      Appendix A: Formula
      How to calculate for the spell resistances:

      A.) 2 Sources
      This is for heroes without resistance skills or the 3 that do have it but do not choose to stack

      Spell Resistance = (1 - (1 - S1) * (1 - S2)) * 100

      The first source (S1) will always be your natural resistance of 0.25. The second source (S2) will be 0.15 for Cloak, 0.35 for Aegis, 0.4 for Spell Shield, 0.2 for Netherdrake and 0.16 for Flesh Heap.

      Example: Any hero with Aegis

      S1 = 0.25
      S2 = 0.35
      Spell Resistance = (1 - (1 - 0.25) * (1 - 0.35)) * 100
      Spell Resistance = (1 - (0.75) * (0.65)) * 100
      Spell Resistance = (1 - 0.4875) * 100
      Spell Resistance = 0.5125 * 100
      Spell Resistance = 51.25%

      B.) 3 Sources
      This is for Magina, Netherdrake and Pudge if they choose to correctly stack an item with their resistance skill.

      Spell Resistance = (1 - (1 - S1) * (1 - S2) * (1 - S3)) * 100

      The first source (S1) will always be your natural resistance of 0.25. The second source (S2) will be 0.15 for Cloak or 0.35 for Aegis. The third source (S3) will be 0.40 for Spell Shield, 0.20 for Corrosive Skin and 0.16 for Flesh Heap.

      Example: Netherdrake with Cloak and Corrosive Skin

      S1 = 0.25
      S2 = 0.15
      S3 = 0.20

      Spell Resistance = (1 - (1 - 0.25) * (1 - 0.15) * (1 - 0.20)) * 100
      Spell Resistance = (1 - (0.75) * (0.85) * (0.80)) * 100
      Spell Resistance = (1 - (0.6375) * (0.80)) * 100
      Spell Resistance = (1 - 0.51) * 100
      Spell Resistance = 0.49 * 100
      Spell Resistance = 49%

      Appendix B: Incorrect Stacking

      If you ever stack it incorrectly, that is, you get a spell resistance item AFTER getting the skill, then the effect of the skill is not counted. The item overrides, and it's as if the skill never existed at all (except for other effects it may provide besides resistance).

      Specifically, the Anti-mage loses 3.75% of his resistance once the Aegis overrides his Spell Shield, or 10.5% if he was stacking SS with Cloak before.

      However, for Pudge and Netherdrake, their resistance actually increases when you upgrade from their skill to an Aegis, or even from Cloak and their skill to an Aegis.

      Danke an Gradenko_2000 für diese praktische Übersicht.

    • hmm.. ja gibt kein aegis mehr stimmt schon.. aber da aegis sehr spät im itembuild kommt .. und man vorher basher hat...
      kann man roshan locker alleine machen :O
      vllt mach ich nachher ma n neues rep :)
      aber es gibt so wenige leaveer freie games :(
      egal ich versuchs gleich ma ..

      das neue butter lohnt sich natürlich jetzt noch mehr für anti-mage
      vllt überarbeite ich den guide bald ma widda (erst neues rep)
      tjoaaa und das ais item is auch ne überlegung wert..

      alles andere find ich etz net lohnenswert :O damit meine ich den Hood of Defiance ;)
    • finde die hood trotzdem empfehlenswert auch ihm. vorallem bis man sie hat, leistet der helm of iron will doch gute dienste. evtl. kann mans bei dem helm auch einfach belassen. ich meine chainmail + ror bringt weniger kostet aber mehr als helm of iron will

      aber armor und n revive und wenn man roshan killt bekommt man 200 gold .. (oder so xD) ..
      und roshan ist in der neuen vers. so start wie n tankender tinker.. (hab mich grad an so ne sig erinnert von som typ hier ^^ )

      Unter Reduces (pl.) verstehe ich physischen Reduce und magischen Reduce.
      Aegis bringt dir weder das eine noch das andere,
      sondern ist einfach nur noch ein One-Time-Ankh
    • An dieser Stelle möchte ich Dark Face danken für dieses riesige Zitat, was meinen Punkt noch einmal belegt, denn 1000-68,5% = 315, was sich zu 100% mit meiner Rechnung deckt. Ich möchte nochmal darauf hinweisen dass ich die Kommastelle ignoriert habe. Ebenfalls möchte ich Dark.Face dafür danken, dass er mein eigentliches Argument mit Vanguard ignoriert hat.
      Necessity brings him here, not pleasure.
    • da steht doch MEIN item build .. und dann hab ich noch drunter meka und guinsoo gemacht und hab drüber geschrieben .. .andere items die zu nem anderen build gehörender sicherlich auch gut ist aber auf den ich jetz nicht eingehen möchte da ich euch in diesem guide MEINE spielweise näher bringen möchte

      ok da steht es etwas anders .. ^^ aber ich edit ma grad mein guide damit das deutlicher wird , dass es um meine spielweise geht und nicht um nen guinsoo build von dem ich eigentlich nicht sooooooo viel halte :p na kla kann man damit rocken aber mit basher iss pflicht zu rocken :P
    • Original von dersandkönigrockt
      eine frage es gibt ja nun neue items kannst du vll welche davon in den guide aufnehmen falls es welche gibt die gut sind? -------sonst is der guide klasse
      Keines der neuen items ist wirklich sehr effektiv, cuirass wäre eine überlegung wert jedoch nicht als frühes item sonder eher als 4. oder 5. grosses item. Hood of Defiance (wie einige vorposter ausführlich beschrieben) ist kompleter schwachsinn, da die regen viel besser von einer bottle gedeckt wird und die magie-immunität (abgesehen davon, dass falls man diese mit der von spellshield addiert haben will relativ lange zeit verzichten muss) sehr tief und somit fast nutzlos ist. Bloodstone ist ebenfalls kein sehr gutes item, da es sich nicht gehört mit antimage zu sterben und die buffs auch kaum was bringen, abgesehen von dem völlig überteuerten life.

      Fazit: Cuirass ist das einzige item, das wirklich potentiellen nutzen für dem AM bringt.
    • ja ciurass is schon ne überlegung wert..
      vllt sogar schon als erstes großes item O_o
      vorher n midas dann geht das schon..
      auf drow rockt cuirass , aber mit der kann man ja auch phöse farmen.

      vllt erfind ich ja mal nen cuirass first build xD

      aber eigentlich bau ich ihn nicht (vllt irgendwann mal - wer weiß :p)
      später im late kann man ihn bauen .. aber wenn es wirklich "die möglichkeit" gibt ihn zu bauen , dann sollte man lieber devine holen xD wenn ihr versteht :p gefeedet werden ftw
    • also ich finde den vanguard + midas + treads+ vladimirs + 2 basher schon so gut genug... dannach kann man ja meinetwegen anstelle von hot (aus dem vanguard) cuirass machen... dannach butter gegen midas.... und weiter wüsste ich nix.
      aber eigentlich ist das spiel nach den bashern vorbei.
