    It is with great pleasure that we announce a very special tournament, this is for the guys who day after day help you guys,
    answer your supports, keep you up-to-date with the latest news..
    You guess right, this is a tournament for the DotA crews out there.

    This tournament going to be a 5on5 tournament, played with the latest stable map, we decided to add a little twist to it, seeing it is the handsome staff members we are talking about, therefor we will not do the 'usual' -apxl mode, but we will be using -rd for this tournament.
    How come? Well it is very simple, we did not create this tournament for the crews to win prizes, win by any means necessairy. We created this tournament for the crews to gather, play togther, learn each other a bit more, share ideas and visions on how to create the best DotA site and so on. Because the tournament is to have fun, we also tried to make the ruleset, as well as anything else, as simple as possible, therefor you will not have to read a wall of text to compeat, but simply the most important rules, minimized to max.
    We do have some other rules, that you do not see in other tournaments, we do not allow the usage of any pro players. How do you define a pro player? Well, we decided that a pro player is someone who has been or is playing in a DotA team who won a major tournament which included other big names. So if a former pro player decided to drop out of DotA as professional and start his/her crew career, then they are not allowed to play. We are having this rule since we will try and make it as even as possible for everyone, not every DotA site have the pleasure of a pro player in their staff, ergo it would be a total walkover if a pro player participated in this tournament and that is not the thought behind it.
    We also have a rule that every team that signs up for this tournament has to support with one person to our crew, this does not mean you have to do actual tournament work as posting updates, news, etc. but you do have to be avalible in case of dispute regarding the rules, if two teams have issues in a match and can not decide it themselves, the admin group (without the two admins the issue concern) will then talk and decide what to do.
    Besides that rule, it is basicly the same as most places, backdoor is not allowed in any cases neither is attacking the outer towers when they are denyable, you need creepsupport at any time to destroy a building, if they creeps die, you are allowed to stay. These are propably the most important rules and we will of course be posting the rest as soon as possible.

  • Es ist atm so shice warm,
    sodass ich keine Lust habe groß was zu übersetzen.
    Zudem geh ich davon aus, dass unsere Mods/Admins English können :)

  • Ich habe den Thread wieder aufgemacht,
    da er mMn zu früh geclosed wurde.



    Bin strikt dagegen, dass Leute aus der Community teilnehmen, die nicht entweder Mod oder Admin sind.
    Es geht nicht darum, dass das Source dort gut abschneidet, ziehl der DotA Crew Showdown ist es nämlich seine Community zu vertreten
    und wer kann das besser als das Source Staff?
    Das Roster gibts hier
    Fände es auch nett, wenn unsere alt-Admins, Phossy und Flummi, antreten könnten/würden :)

    Naja, mein persönliches Dream LineUp wäre:

    Berthi --> weil der beste Spieler im Staff
    Juff --> weil wahrscheinlich zweitbester Carry im Staff
    Napo --> weil "Napo isn't capable of hitting even one of five enemies with Warlock Infernal."
    CCaesar --> weil möchtegern "Pro-Carry mit Void"
    ramius --> weil Admin und er gut supportet, imo

    Das ist imo, das GG Team!


    PS: Bitte keine ein Satz Comments oder Spam, sonst muss der Thread wieder zugemacht werden und zwar von mir :/
    Könnt ja auch euer Dreamlineup posten, aber auch warum etc, nicht nur Name hinbätschen!

  • Bin auch dagegen, dass nicht-mods mitspielen. Wäre schon i.O. so, wie es nyakes gesagt hat, aber ich glaube leider nicht, dass unsere mods/admins alle zeit finden....wird eh damit enden, dass dotasource nicht vertreten ist/nicht antreten kann mMn.

    Berthi und Juff sind immer da, außer sind sie saufen :)

    CCaesar und ramius sind auch ziemlich aktiv und spielen viel!

    Napo ist wiedermal das Problemkind, wenn er über GGC spielt, muss echt alles aus (IRC, TS, etc),
    sonst laggt er :/
    Wozu aber TS? No need imo!

    Yak kann afaik nicht, da er immer kurz Connection Probleme hat und disced.

  • hab gehört da is son komischer nyakes mod geworden...was is mit dem? kann der was? kennst du den -sekayN?

    aber wie ich ja schon angesprochen habe, wär richtig geil wenn man bei den DS.de spielen dann livecasts dazumacht etc, sollte hier ja besser laufen als bei DM oder sowas

    Das kannst du nicht mit dem BDLClash vergleichen, dass von Community Usern "organisiert" wurde.
    DotA Crew Showdown wird von der NVIP organisiert, wir müssen nur 5 Leute zum Match bringen, mehr ist da nicht.
    Vorallem ist hier die Zahl der Teilnehmer klein (brauchen ja nur 5-6 Mods),
    und wenn die net kommen, imo Source ban <3

    PS: Ich bin Szene-Mod ( no full mod) geworden, nicht Nyakes!
    Aber das wäre viel zu easy, wenn ich teilnehm, will den Gegnern und vorallem myMYM (hi Kaku!) ne Chance lassen,
    indem ich nicht mit mach :)
