Don´t see why Bottle is optional.
If you would compare it to arcane, ok.
But without a Bottle nor Arcane i can´t see this hero in game. If you fight against Bristle, Mortred or Zeus maybe, but seriously i could NOT live without Bottle (or at least arcane).
Also the runes are quite good for Tiny; Haste or Invis is nearly a free kill. And 3 Bottle Charges = Tinies combo.
With Dagger you get increased manacost which you need to compense and not in farming a Shivas Guard, it is by buying a bottle.
Bottle is a must have, imo.
