      I followed his reasons, and nodded, polite;
      Perhaps that was logic - perhaps he was right.
      Perhaps there was truth in his claim all along...
      'I'm twenty,' I countered: 'I'm right, and you're wrong.'

      Sieht bei mir eher so aus :D Habe aber auch einige Varianten abgeschrieben und spiele lieber Alternativen, die für mich einfacher zu spielen sind oder besser zum Spielstil passen.
      Shanky schon bester Mann. Hat auch gestern bei den US-Meisternschaften eine Art Réti-System gespielt (allerdings mit Weiß), dass sehr ähnlich zum 2. Kurs war. Im Endspiel hat sein Gegner einfach das Qualitätsopfer nicht gesehen, bzw. die resuktierende Stellung falsch eingeschätzt und kam sofort unter die Räder.

      Apropos US-Meisterschaften:
      Awonderful game von Liang gegen den knapp 200 Punkte höher gewerteten Aronian, der in einer seltenen Variante des schottischen Gambits komplett zerstört wurde.
      Lohnt sich vielleicht für den einen oder anderen hier der schottisch spielt, da mal reinzuschauen.

    • Ich hab gestern das erste Mal seit 2010 OTB gespielt. Ich war ja nicht so sicher, wie viel Bock es machen würde nachdem ich die ganzen Jahre nur Blitz und Bullet sowie in letzter Zeit bisschen Rapid gespielt habe, aber war dann doch ganz geil eigentlich. Hab auch fast die vollen 1h40 (+30 Sekunden Increment pro Zug) verbraucht für die ersten 40 Züge. Wird auf jeden Fall weiter geballert.

      Nach dem Game hab ich nochmal ca. 2h ohne Engine analysiert und annotiert, bevor ich mir endlich angeschaut habe, was Stockfish dazu sagt. Schon krass wie anders man alles wahrnimmt und wie viel man selbst mit unbegrenzter Zeit überhaupt nicht sieht. War auf jeden Fall bisschen traurig, dass ich anscheinend selbst bei klassischer Zeitkontrolle krasse Probleme habe, eine vollkommen gewonnene Stellung zu konvertieren. Zum Glück hat mir der Feind immer wieder neue Chancen gegeben, nachdem der Vorteil wieder verspielt wurde. Und dann am Ende einfach Matt in 1 geblundert. Ehrenmann.
    • Habe am Sonntag auch gespielt, aber soviel zu analysieren gab es nicht. Partie ging nur 20 Züge und war früh sehr einseitig. Lifehack gegen Blundermeister ist es wohl einfach nicht zurück zu blundern ^.^ Die Mannschaft auch erstmal 6:0 geführt, am Ende ging es 6:1 aus :thumbsup:

      Spoiler anzeigen
      Wie man sogar doppelt so schnell verliert, zeigte mir eben dann noch dieser Spezialist. Glaube das gab einige Rosen Trophies.

    • 2 aus 2 jetzt OTB.

      Nicht sicher was mit dem Schachopi los war. Man startet ja mit 1h40 auf der Uhr und 30 Sekunden Increment und am Ende des Spiels hatte er immer noch 1h30, aber dafür drei Figuren weniger. Immerhin ging das Spiel deutlich länger als das an Brett drei, wo bereits nach 6 Zügen Remis geschoben wurde. Bezirksligaschachlife ist schon saftig.
