      Wie genau kommst du darauf? War mein zweites TI und ich bin nicht wirklich enttäuscht. Natürlich war das Finale letztes mal deutlich knapper, aber der fehlende "Hype" den hier viele bemängeln kommt wohl daher, dass kein westliches Team im Finale war und es den Meisten wohl egal gewesen ist wer gewinnt.
      Das Main Event war doch eigentlich recht spannend. Mir kam es so vor, dass bis auf Newbee alle Teams ungefähr auf einer Augehöhe waren und sich viel durch Taktik/Draft und weniger durch super flashy Plays entschieden hat (von denen es natürlich auch einige gab).

      Das Turnier wird vor allem wegen dem hohen Preisgeld viel Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gezogen haben, mehr Leute werden deswegen Dota "mal kurz ausprobieren" und schnell in der Dotaddiction gefangen sein.

    • Sind glaub ich viele Kleinigkeiten die da zusammenkamen.

      - Fuba WM (vorallem in DE) hat etwas Hype genommen.
      - Westliche Teams schlecht abgeschnitten
      - Das aktuelle Meta ist nicht gerade das Zuschauerfreundlichste
      - Das Turnierlayout war nicht optimal bzw. teilweise fragwürdig (v.a. Bubble Brackets und Bo3 nach 1 Spiel pausieren)
      - Zu großer Hype im Vorfeld.
      - Spiele teilweise sehr einseitig und kurz, vorallem das Finale

      Am wahrscheinlichsten wäre wohl Fear, aber da kA ab wann er wieder intensiv spielen kann/darf. Ansonsten fiele mir noch Aui ein oder Bulba mit Universe --> Carry.

    • Es geht nicht um die Anzahl der gepickten Helden.

      Zu sehen wie 5 Leute auf nen Tower zu gehen, Mass Serpant Wards setzen und den Tower ohne Gegenwehr einreißen halte ich für den Casual-Zuschauer als eher langweilig. Und so wurden viele Spiele gespielt.

      Und um das nochmal klarzustellen, Ich sagte nicht, dass das Meta schlecht war.

      Daher noch was Ontopic: Wenn das mit Kuro stimmt, welche Teams kommen für ihn in Frage? bzw sind wahrscheinlich?

      richtiger sportsmann halt und wenn alle nur über das geld reden nervt das schon und es schadet auch der szene.

    • Zu dem Dendi-Interview, bin fast durch und alles was er im Bezug auf Rosterchanges sagt ist in etwa: Wir sind nicht mehr die selbe Einheit wie vor 1,5 Jahren, wir hören nicht immer aufeinander, wir werden erst einmal miteinander reden und alles besprechen und vorher kann man nichts sagen. Hat außerdem erwähnt, dass er es nicht okay findet, einfach 'nen Monat vor TI zu bootcampen und den Rest des Jahres nichts zu machen (bzw nicht so intensiv zu trainieren, wie vor TI). Das hätte andere Teams Na'Vi voraus und deswegen sind sie auch zurecht nicht erster geworden.

      Er sagt aber auch, dass er glaubt, auf jeder Position individuell (mit) die stärksten Spieler der Welt in seinem Team zu haben, weswegen er auch weiß, dass Na'Vi hätte genauso gewinnen können, wie Newbee. Wenn Taktik, Einstellung und Aufwand gestimmt hätten und einfache, auch logische, Fehler nicht begangen worden wären.


      Außerdem ist er der Nächste, der Ami Pubs flamed. xd

      Now that TI4 is over a 3 minute version of the video is spreading everywhere. I have not seen the 18 minutes full version but just the 3 minute one reveals quite a significant amount of critical information.
      These three minutes seems to be before the actual BP of the DK vs EG groupstage game, and they are just discussing what to do in the first 2 bans and picks with brief mentions of strategies extending into the second phase bp. The approach and the thought process of their BP is completely exposed. To make matters worse LaNm mentioned how EG always first-pick Razor if left available for them, and he has designed a counter in the form of shadow shaman + ursa. Ursa slow does not trigger purge and the huge burst damage completely ignore static link + eye of storm, and SS can provide the instant initiation and long lockdown for guaranteed kills. EG always run position one razor and a hard counter, potentially revealed late in the draft (ursa is hardly a popular b/p hero) can be devastating to EG.
      Now let's look at how the BP went in DK vs EG winner bracker first game:
      DK first picked shadow shaman, while EG responded with Razor+1, then DK got DP. The DP here makes a lot of sense, as she has good synergy with SS and if you don't get it first phase it will probably get banned. Then at the start of the second pick phase EG immidiately picked Ursa before DK has a chance to pick. That's a bit odd isn't it? Of course EG has a nice pocket strate in Ursa + Enchantress early rosh, but DK's lineup is hardly the right target. SS has lockdowns for ursa, while DP naturally has ms to outrun ursa and can euls to remove earthshock slow, also buying time for backup to arrive to disable ursa all while ghosts hit the ursa. You would expect this pocket strat to be much stronger against doom/brew/tide core and greedy position four (can't stop early rosh) drafts. Instead they picked a one-hit wonder strat into DP and a roaming support with good earlygame presence. Also note that DK has never played Ursa against Razor before at this point (neither has any other team I think, though I can't be sure) so a deny pick makes no sense either, unless of course, they saw the video.
      With this "zero evidence guessing" out of the way, I want to say that with this much money and prestige on the line there is nothing stopping EG from fishing out the leaked video to have a look beside some unimportant "fair play spirit" moral sleeve-tugs, and I can understand if they cannot resist the temptation. Also props to them for thinking up the ursa + enchantress pocket strat, that thing is always gonna win a game for them at some point, just a matter of when.
      Now to find the 18 minute video. Imagine how much more illuminati you can dig out of that.
