      edit: okay, gerade fertig gelesen, der artikel ist doch ganz schön lang. folgendes TL;DR hätte ich anzubieten:

      - es gibt keinen historischen präzedenzfall für die aktuelle situation, allerdings ist es historisch wahrscheinlich dass die republikaner versuchen werden alle möglichen register zu ziehen um die wahl doch richtung trump zu biegen
      - wichtig hierzu: die reps sind mehr off the chains als je zuvor, und gewisse gesetze die in den letzten 20 jahren krasse auswüchse verhindert haben wurden unter der aktuellen administration nicht verlängert

      - aller wahrscheinlichkeit nach wird trump eine niederlage unter keinen umständen akzeptieren und alles versuchen, damit die wahl in seiner wiederwahl endet
      - wenn die aktuelle situation sich nicht verändert, ist folgendes szenario wahrscheinlich: da biden-wähler dieses jahr verstärkt auf briefwahl setzen werden (siehe covid), ergibt sich am wahltag (der nicht das ende der geschichte ist) ein sieg für trump. in den tagen nach der wahl würde aus dem trump-sieg ein biden-sieg werden, wenn die briefwahlzettel alle langsam ausgezählt sind. trump würde dann auf das ergebnis vom wahltag pochen und die briefwahlzettel mit aller macht zu delegitimieren versuchen. die weichen hierfür werden bereits jetzt schon gestellt (siehe USPS-defunding)

      - ab diesem zeitpunkt - in den 79 tagen zwischen wahltag und inauguration day am 20. januar 2021 - kann wirklich alles schiefgehen. vielerlei fälle, wahlrechtliche sackgassen etc. könnten eintreten, für die das US-wahlrecht keine auswege bietet und die in dieser situation auch nicht geschaffen werden können.

      - ganz kurz gefasst: es wird schmutzig, selbst wenn biden direkt am wahltag mit komfortablem vorsprung gewinnen sollte. und wenn nicht, steht zu befürchten, dass alle unzulänglichkeiten des US-wahlsystems alle auf einmal eine kritische rolle bei einem desaster spielen

    • selbst wenn man für einen moment mal die "anschuldigungen" im video ernst nehmen würde, das ist alles schon ziemlich absurd dargestellt.
      bei allen diesen "former staff/poll worker" etc. kommt niemals irgendein beweis dass es wirklich die leute sind die dort hingeschrieben werden.
      ich kann mich auch als inkarnation von reagan betiteln und irgendwas verzapfen aber liefere überhaupt keine beweise.
      es wird immer nur geredet wie man was gehört hat was angeblich ilhan omar und ihr staff gemacht und gesagt haben sollen. seit wann sind hörensagen beweise?
