Wer WC3 kennt, der sollte DotA lieben: Seit Monaten schon begeistert die Mod für WarCraft III nicht nur Strategie-Profis. Große Ligen wie die Electronic Sports League bieten bereits eine Basis für einen regulären Spielbetrieb und auch mousesports möchte sich dieser stetigen Entwicklung nicht entziehen. Somit begrüßen wir ab dem heutigen Tage das Team von Back to Basics als offizielles DotA-Team in unserem Hause, die zur Zeit ungeschlagen die Tabelle zur achten Saison in der DotA-League anführen, vor Teams wie SK Gaming und MeetYourMakers.

Neben den Spielern gibt es auch gleich den ersten Neuzugang zu vermelden. Der erst kürzlich bei SK ausgetretene Schwede Drayich wird unser Team von nun an vorerst unterstützen. Mit ihm an der Seite wird das Team weiterhin alles versuchen um den Namen mousesports auch in der DotA-Szene zu vertreten, sei es online oder offline.



Neben diversen DotA-Ligen und Tunieren hat das Team natürlich auch schon in der Vergangenheit schon oft Ausdauer und Siegeswillen bewiesen. Ein Beispiel dafür ist das DotA Masters 8 Turnier in dem das neue mousesports DotA team den ersten Platz belegte oder auch dem größten Turnier weltweit, dem SENNHEISER Prime Defending in welchem das Team auch schon große Erfolge feierte.

"We are very proud to have the chance to wear and represent mousesports in the DotA scene. With such a strong partner as mouz we can only look forward to the future of our Team! But this is not only a great success for us, it is also one for the DotA scene which had only bad news lately. Beside that we are also happy that we found Drayich as new tryout which is also very nice because most people thought he would just leave the competitive DotA scene."

Hey Kog, first of all: congratulations! Could you introduce yourself in the beginning?
Hey folks! My name is Alexander "Kog" Schütt, living in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Captain of former team clan Back To Basics.

Your team BTB just joined the very well-known multigaming-clan mouseSports. Was it rather spontanous or how long did you plan it?
It was planned for some weeks, but we had to do preparations. I wanna thank mousesports for this great chance.

But you didn`t plan having Drayich in your team, did you? Why did he join mouz?
We searched for a great last player to get our lineup complete. It was more or less a fortune for us that Kim joined. I had always fun playing with him IHCS and he was always a good friend of me, who helped me in hard situations. Good chance to say: Welcome Kim!

Let`s come to the most important point: the reasons. Why did your team join mouseSports and what are your aims for future?
Well. I think every good team is searching for a good organization, which gives you backup. Exactly that´s what we found in mousesports. Our plans for the future are ofcourse to get one of the top 3 clans of the world and make MYM and VP concurrence.

Did you already plan participating in offline events, although your team is quite international?
Well our team only comes from 3 different countries mainly. So cya next Asus and Dreamhack

One last question: The WC3-Legend mouz|ToD just said in an interview the following: "Lately I`ve been playing mostly DotA , all the time, I didn`t practice much at all ... so I just came and played =)" - Any plans that he will join as well or at least play with you sometimes? How is the relation?
ToD is a good friend and maybe you will see him scrimming with us sometimes. And some of us are already pretty good friends with him. But actually playing DotA improves his wc3 skills, as you can see he won Fragbet tournament ONLY due to DotA, guess grubby and focus didn´t expect that kind of preparation from ToD
