Totally Negating Panda's Split:

Yes, nether strike if timed right and with a little bit of luck you can totally null panda's ultimate when you hit him as he splits. This is VERY hard to do as there is basically no warning for when he is going to do it and nether is not instant like split. But if you watch your opponent on when he splits whether it is right before the big battle or when he's low on health you should be able to score it at least once.

Here are some screens of what this looks like. I figured panda would go at half health so I started nether strike just before he did; the outcome was just what I wanted.
