MYM Prime Nations #2 angekündigt!

    • Ok people... I think I owe some apologies and an explanation to the whole DotA community for the unpleasant incidents that happened in last Prime Nations and Prime Defending tournaments (especially prime nations grand finals). So here I go:

      I am really sorry!

      That would be the apology,

The explanation is a little more complicated, but I'll try to simplify it. The rules page states the following: stated in our tournament(s) rules page:

"The administration is there to plan, guarantee and maintain a fair run of the tournament. In case of a dispute, the administration will take the case with both teamleaders."

Being an admin myself, this was my main goal. Since I have a streaming account for GGTV I can make streams for the games so the DotA Community can have the chance to watch how the events are going live!

Now, about my streaming, which most of the people really misunderstood is this. To be honest, I can't even remember the last time (during the PD9,PN2) that I got disconnected/broke a stream because
-> MY <- internet connection failed. It sure didn't happen recently (I might be wrong, I might not be wrong)
anyway. The last time I got disconnected was in the Russia vs Denmark match, when the host had a serversplit which caused a huge spike, the spike caused a disconnection of the players and me. Regardless, the things were cleared and the match continued after that, the blame was put on me, alright.

However, in the grand finals, I wanted to do 2 things in the same time, like I did in almost all the games in the past; my admin job (monitoring the match) and streaming the match. Unfortunately the things didnt go like they should have and as I said I'm sorry for that. Either way, there's some good news about this; the GGC staff has increased its number of DotA streamers, so there will be more streams in the future.

The explanation for Russia's warning after the match is simple; in a tournament, the fundamentals of a tournament is only one thing: manners, every rule made is with that basis.

In our tournament(s) rules page, it is clearly stated:

      • Act mature and mannered both ingame and in the chat channels. Offending the administration and/or participants of this tournament will result in punishments and might lead to a complete ban from the tournament and/or website.

Unfortunatly, it is not the first time that Russia broke this rule and they were asked many times to change their behaviour. Regardless of their warnings (they were verbally warned several times) nothing happened.

Anyway, once again I'm really sorry for this incident. Also I'm already working on finding a solution to avoid such problems in the future tournaments.

Congratulations Russia and Ukraine for placing 1st/2nd in this edition of MYM Prime Nations keep up the good work!

edit: I want to mention a very important thing:
When it comes to teams and players, -> i do not "hate"/"have preferences" based on their origin. Sorry if you got the wrong impression but thats the truth.

      Thanks and cya around,

*this post is not meant to offend anyone, its just my public appologies to everybody and the explanation for the way that things actually went.

      /S1rro
