Nachdem zuletzt internationale Spitzenclans wie Meet Your Makers und SK Gaming ihre Dotateams entlassen mussten, sah es so aus, als würde der rapide Wachstum von DotA so langsam ins Stocken kommen. Heute aber kommt auf die Szene ein Ereignis gigantischen Ausmaßes zu: Die Fusion von Dota-League und myMYM zu MYDota-League!
Dieses Projekt ist die Vereinigung der 2 größten und ältesten Dotacommunities überhaupt und soll eine neue Ära für DotA einläuten. Alle wichtigen Informationen gibt es auf dem soeben veröffentlichten Developers Blog. Die wichtigsten sind nun im Folgenden zusammengefasst.
Das bietet myDota-League
Noch bessere Berichterstattung:
Durch den Zusammenschluss der Newsteams von mymym und DL werden in Zukunft ALLE Online- und Offline-Turniere, ob aus dem europäischen oder asiatiatischen Raum, ausführlich gecovert. Außerdem wird ein System eingeführt, durch das sämtliche Informationen einfach und schnell über eine neue Version von Dotazilla ereichbar sind.
Neues Prime Defending und Prime Nations:
Die größte Turnierserie, die DotA zu bieten hat, das Prime Defending, geht in Runde 12 und hat etwas ganz besonderes zu bieten. Es werden - erstmals in DotA überhaupt - Offline Finals für die Top 8 ausgetragen, dessen Anreisekosten von den Sponsoren des Turniers bezahlt werden. Dazu kommt ein Preispool von satten 5000 €. Neben dem 'normalen' PriDe ist auch ein neues Prime Nations in Planung, für das ähnliche Features vorgesehen sind.
Game-TV mit Starkommentatoren:
Die Topmatches dieser Wettbewerbe werden regelmäßig in Game-TV ausgestrahlt und von richtigen Starspielern kommentiert: KuroKy, Loda, Maelk, Puppey und vigoss wurden ebenso genannt wie Tofuboi, Yamateh und Papaxiong für den asiatischen Raum.
Topserver und Hostingbots:
Damit auch interkontinental für lagfreie Spiele gesorgt werden kann, hat myDotaLeague eine Armee von Hochleistungsservern und Hostingbots am Start, um einen fairen Wettbewerb zu garantieren. Dazu kommt eine Streamingoffensive: Sämtliche Spiele sollen sowohl in GarenaTV als auch in WaaaghTV zu sehen kein. Um dies zu erleichtern wird es im Dotazilla eine Funktion geben, die das gleichzeitige Streamen in beide Systeme ohne erhöhten Traffic möglich macht.
Erweitertes Sig-System:
Auch für Gelegenheitsspieler gibt es gute Nachrichten - in Kürze wird es möglich sein, sich mit Freunden zusammenzutun, mit denen man dann ein SIG joinen kann in der Garantie, dass alle in dasselbe Team kommem. Dieses System nennt sich FSIG (Friends Single Instant Game) und kommt einher mit einem kompletten Neustart der SIG-Statistiken.
