The Space Pirates were playing around with a chemical called phazon, which came from the meteor and is even more dangerous than it looks. They've been mixing it with everything they could find: Themselves, Metroids and possibly Tequila.

Ghosts are really hot and interesting and should defenitely get their own game, but probably never will.
