      "Ich kann ja kein rassist sein, ich habe schwarze Freunde." ist wohl eine der billigsten Ausreden die es gibt. Nur weil sie indische Mitarbeiter bdeutet es nicht, dass sie für deren "Einstellung" verantwortlich ist.

    • Lies dir doch die Emails durch, dass sie keine Plätze mehr hätte sagte sie erst später. Chronologisch ergibt doch deine Argumentation keinerlei Sinn. Zuerst sagt sie ihm WORTWÖRTLICH, dass sie keine männlichen Inder für Praktikumsplätze "einstellt".

      Hätte sie nicht gesagt, dass es keine Plätze mehr gäbe, könnte der Inder sie wegen Diskriminierung verklagen und genau deshalb gibt es auf einmal keine Plätze mehr.

      Und davon mal abgesehen hat sie später auch noch das hier geschrieben:

    • Er hat die betreffenden Emails komplett veröffentlicht. Sie schreibt diese Dinge genau so wort wörtlich und wenn du das nicht als rassistisch ansiehst, dann ist das dein Bier.

      Der Rest ist standard PR-Krisenmanagement und wenn sie wirklich komplett falsch zitiert geworden wäre hätte sie ihre Entschuldigung nicht so formuliert wie sie es getan hat.

      "Es war aber nie meine Absicht, die indische Gesellschaft zu diskriminieren. Ich habe überhaupt nichts gegen indische Studenten - ganz im Gegenteil. Bei allen, deren Gefühle ich verletzt haben sollte, entschuldige ich mich in aller Form"

      Sie hat also nicht absichtlich diskriminiert (eben unabsichtlich) aber dass sie diskriminiert hat gibt sie selbst zu. Wie man das bestreiten kann ist mir schleierhaft, aber hey -jedem das seine.

    • zu sagen "Es war aber nie meine Absicht, die indische Gesellschaft zu diskriminieren" ist nicht gleichzusetzen mit zugeben das sie diskriminiert hat sondern zugeben das andere sich diskiriminiert fühlen.

      Kommt dann auf die Nebensätze an, welche du auch eigentlich weglassen könntest, stattdessen kannst du sowas Nichtdiskriminierendes schreiben wie:

      "Frauen und Behinderte werden bei gleicher Qualifikation bevorzugt."
