Kommt glaube ich nicht von fatality (was übrigens eh nicht phonetisch "ey" ausgesprochen wird),
sondern glaub ich aus dem lateinischen von fatum (-i n.) = Schicksal bzw. fata (plural) = Schicksalssprüche
oder einfach dem englischen fate ;P
ja... weil die Engländer etymologisch gesehen auch soviele Worte selber kreiert haben und sie nicht ledgiglich von einer vorangehenden Weltmacht übernommen haben
