    • The first event starts everything off is this one:
      Event id = hre_event.1 "The Shadow Kingdom"
      It pulls whoever gets it out of the empire - No Choice.
      It the triggers other events giving the other Italian princes the choice to pull out or not.
      (The AI will always accept unless it is a vassal of the Emperor in which case it will always refuse.)

      There are other parts dealing with HRE Italian territory held by non-princes, and notifications.

      The basic options for avoiding event #1 are:
      Expand the HRE to all KoI provinces. I am having trouble thinking of any way to do this without conquering (and core-ing) all of mainland Venice and the Papal States.
      Make sure it has no valid targets. Any HRE prince with a capital in Italy who is not the vassal of a German overlord can get this event



      Hab mal gesucht weils mich interessiert. Wenn ich das richtig verstehe ergibt sich das Problem nicht als Italien, da man alle relevanten provinzen ja schon besitzt oder erobern kann. Ausserdem bekommt man ja die Wahl im HRE zu bleiben oder nicht, und kann dann einfach im HRE verbleiben.

      Oder?

    • Man bekommt die Wahl, AI leavt aber immer. Ob man wenn man Italien gründet automatisch leavt weiß ich nicht sicher - Ich dachte schon, deswegen haben sie ja auch die italienischen Idee mit +Imperial Authority removed. Letzten Patch habe ich Italien geformt, aber da blieb man 1. drin und 2. haben die Staaten ja nicht automatisch das Reich verlassen. Also ganz andere Vorzeichen.

    • unlawful territory tatsächlich der größte hurensohnclaim im ganzen spiel. finde, der impact auf andere reichsmitglieder sollte sich an imperial authority ausrichten und mich nicht einfach casual zwingen nach jedem gebietsgewinn jahrelang zu warten bevor ich mit meinen nachbarn auch nur halbwegs zweckgerichtet diplomatie betreiben kann. macht auch logisch keinen sinn.

      fands bei meinem versuch als hessen das reich zu einigen komplett unmöglich friedlich zu expandieren, irgendwann hat einfach jedes mal unlawful territory komplett den fortschritt gebremst. (selbst als ich dann die zahl der electors auf 3 reduziert hatte auch immer noch nicht hinbekommen kaiser zu werden. thron ging ans commonwealth. da war dann anschlusszeit und nach dem krieg gabs das HRE halt nich mehr)

    • Ich hatte keine Grenze zu Frankreich, sie mussten dann im Frieden Brittanien, Toulouse und Nevers freigeben und ein paar Provinzen zurück an die Provence. England hat aber auch noch nen separaten Krieg erklärt und sich in Aquitanien und Nordfrankreich noch einiges geholt.

      Bin jz aus dem HRE ausgetreten übrigens, werd wohl eher gegen Aragon gehen für die Genua Tradenode als mich mit dem Reich zu beschäftigen.

    • Kein Plan, angeblich gabs mal ein EU:Rome, dessen Namen sie ja dann hätten nehmen können, soll aber eine neue IP sein. Ist auch nur der Projektname afaik. Reddit hyped v.a. so Regionalgeschichts-Sachen wie Zeit der streitenden Reiche in China oder Renaissance-Italien separat oder so. Andere sagen vllt SciFi, Kalter Krieg ode Fantsy, wobei ich das eher unwahrscheinlich finde.
