      Evidently, after being investigated multiple times (once for illegal hush money payments to a porn star), being implicated in felonies, and impeached and acquitted for extorting allies, a global pandemic ravages America, killing 100,000 people.

      However, the President's biggest concerns confusingly involve shutting down.... Twitter.
      "But.. why?", you ask. You slowly realize that the future President will evidently "tweet" ..sometimes over one hundred times a day, filled with rambling rants, anger, division, and never-ending typos. They will even include a debunked murder conspiracy theory against a private citizen close to the date of the paper. Trump's rage against the first amendment is spurred by him being fact-checked for the first time.

      The articles are strangely written as if this is typical behavior and to be expected of the President.

      Would you believe it?

      Macht er doch? Gibt auch schon Optionen, nutzen nur noch nicht viele. Es gibt Projekte die versuchen dezentralisierte Plattformen zu schaffen, gerade um Daten wieder in deinen eigenen Besitz zu bringen. Diesbezüglich sind wir sogar in einer kritischen Phase, denn in naher Zukunft sind Geschichten wie eine digitale Identität (mit allen möglichen privaten Daten) unausweichlich. Wie wir das gestalten - über dezentrale Layer oder über zentrale Wahrheitsinstitute (Hallo China), liegt in der Hand jedes einzelnen.

    • Ja, wenn die Kameracrew bestehend aus nem Schwarzen, nem Weißen und nem Hispanic verhaftet wird, ist das natürlich naheliegend.
      Bisschen weniger Twitter und bisschen weniger Hysterie wären vermutlich nicht schlecht in diesen Zeiten. Auch beeindruckend, wie hier manche Medien mal wieder mit großer Obsession ein Narrativ bedienen wollen mit solchen headlines.
      Bin jetzt auch mal bis zum Jahresende raus, was Politikdiskussionen angeht, sind meistens hier gerade eh nur noch bad faith arguments.

    • Einfach die Polizei abschaffen. Dann brauch man nicht mehr darüber spekulieren welcher Hirnteil für die Fehltritte dieser Psychopathen verantwortlich war.

      Also mal serious, weil ichs nicht gette: Denkst du wirklich, dass du ohne Polizei besser dran wärst? Ich verstehe, dass die Polizei so einigen BS macht gerade im Land of the Free, aber cmon. Wie sieht die Welt denn ohne Polizei bei dir aus? Wir tanzen Hand in Hand um nen Regenbogen?

    • ich geh einfach mal davon aus dass das polemik war, weil die polizei in den meisten fällen dazu neigt, eine unreformierbare institution zu sein, und sie gerade in den staaten so richtig kaputt ist.
