      So da es noch kein Beitrag dazu gab, mach ich hier ma einen auf.
      Prime Defending, also known by its alias PriDe, is without a doubt the world’s biggest and most famous DotA tournament. Now Prime Defending gets a new big brother, we proudly present what will be the world’s most prestige full DotA league: Prime Defending League (PDL)
      Prime Defending League (PDL) will consist of the 12 best teams in the world, of which 6 have been directly invited for the first season of PDL. The remaining 6 teams will be found via Prime Defending #10, which will serve as the qualifier for PDL.
      With the launch of the Prime Defending League, the PriDe tournaments will be used to determine which teams are going to play in PDL. This means that PriDe #11 will serve as qualifier for the four free spots in PDL Season 2. There will be four open spots, as rank #9-12 in PDL will be relegated from the League. The relegated teams will, if they want to requalify for PDL, be entered in the PriDe-tournament with a BYE in the first round.
      Prime Defending League will have a season of 11 Playdays with a duration of one week each. After that, the top 2 ranked teams are directly qualified for the PDL Grand Finals while the teams ranking 3rd to 6th will be playing elimination-matches (in the format #3 vs #6 and #5 vs #4), to determine who will meet the top 2 teams in the PDL Grand Finals for the amazing prize pool.
      PDL Season #1 Grand Finals will be held online and we are working on having PDL Season #2 Grand Finals as a LAN event somewhere in the world.

      To kick off Prime Defending League with a big bang we have invited the following teams:

      • KingSurf
      • SK Gaming
      • Virtus.Pro
      • Wolker Gaming
      • * To Be Announced
      And of course Prime Defending League Season #1 also has a big pot of prize money, which are as follows:
      1. 2,000 US$
      2. 1,000 US$
      3. 500 US$
      Keep an eye out for Prime Defending #10 – The qualifier for the Prime Defending League, which you and your team should not miss out on. It's now or not for a long time, as the second qualifier for PDL won’t be held until the first season is finished. Further information on Prime Defending League is coming up soon.

      Was haltet ihr davon?
      Ich find eigentlich recht gut nur die Idee inner ersten Saison direkt 6 Teams zu inviten gefällt mir nicht. Dann sollten doch auch alle im PriDe gefunden werden.

    • Find die idee gut. Hätten aber meiner meinung nach teg einladen sollen da sie beim pride 4ter waren und es daher mehr verdient haben als sk und ks (auch wenn ich die beiden teams stärker einschätze). Aber sonst finde ich passt das alles so.

    • ist doch im endeffekt egal ob teg jetzt sofort invited wird oder durchs pride10 reinkommt, wenn sie es nicht schaffen unter die top6 zu kommen haben sies nicht verdient dort zu spielen...aber ich denke das packen sie locker.

      PDL find ich cool, orgasmus-replays en masse.

      ....aber ich würde mich bald mal über ne neue mapversion freuen, so langsam aber sicher wirds etwas langweilig.

      Das würde aber nicht den Plan fördern die besten Teams der Welt da drin zu haben weil es durchaus passieren kann dass die Top-Teams sich da ansonsten vorher gegenseitig raushauen würden.

      Ich find eher sie sollte begrip einladen weil die Asus gewonnen haben und LoH und focusIRE im Team haben.

      Top10 reicht vermutlich auch schon, werden ja sicherlich einige der Teams die invited sind auch da wieder auf die ersten Plätze kommen.
      Firstly dont make me laugh about "competitive dota". Banning BM is just the dumbest thing i ever heard of in the world of dota. Not to mention that playing competitive doesnt really prove jack in a team/hero bias/luck orientated game.

      Prime Defending's big brother is on the verge of launching - the Prime Defending League (PDL) is just around the corner! The contestants of PDL #1 will be fighting for glory and a big pot of prize money, which is as follows:

      With this said, we're presenting the participating teams and the ruleset to the public :

      Some PDL Rules:


      • Competition Method: 5 v 5
      • Game Version: DotA Allstars v6.52c -XL
        • Match Length: Until a winner is decided
        • Match Winner: A match is won if the opponents ancient is destroyed, or if two or more members of the opposing team leave the game.



      The original invited teams included Virtus.Pro, but due to multiple violations of the rules, the team has been excluded from PDL. Instead the tournament organizers have decided to include the Indonesian team XcN in the invitees.
