      Das ganze basiert auf der Pick- und Ban-Häufigkeit der Heroes. Heroes die also oft gepickt oder gebannt werden, stehen also dementsprechend weit oben mit vielen Punkten. Daraus kann man dann folgern, dass diese atm die wohl "besten" CW-Heroes sind. Btw: Heroes unter 5 Punkten sind nicht mit drin.
      Interessante Sache bzw. Statistik eigentlich. Auch wenn sie nichts neues sagt, gibt's wenigstens Mal Belege in Form von Zahlen.

    • ich weiss nicht. ich hätte jetzt darauf getippt, dass qop gewinnt. nerubian assasin ist vergleichsweise zum bm ziemlich weit hinten, was, wie ich finde, nicht sein kann. zeus vor qop ist für mich auch ein bisschen überraschend.

      Hello everybody.

      Read the following text if you want to know why and how I made the list. Some clarifications and disregards are also provided.
      I have watched several replays from the pro games and I had a fairly good clue of which heroes that are the best in the game for competitive gaming.
      But today my clan got steamrolled by another clan without me feeling we were necessarily worse players, how come?
      We chose the wrong heroes. So I decided to sit down and figure out which heroes that are the very best.
      I decided to use the ban and picking orders of 30 games at the very highest level.
      Replays including teams such as Russian national team, Ukrainian national team, MYM, SK, Q, Mouz, eMg etc etc.

      I created a point system based on when they were picked.
      As most know, in -apxl which is the standard mode for comp. dota, you first ban 3 hereos each and then pick heroes in this order 1-2-2-2-2-1 starting with sentinel. The first picked hero would get 6 points, second and third would get 5 points, fourth and fifth would get 4 points etc.
      The banned heroes would get 7 points. At first I was giving the banned heroes 8 points, but that wasn't balanced enough. As sometimes the very best heroes aren't banned.

      My list has some problems though. Russians and Ukrainian teams were used quite a lot, and when the Russians and Ukrainians are playing, Dazzle and Nerub will sure be banned a lot. You see the problem? Some teams are exceptionally good with some heroes, and if those teams were playing in more games than any other team in my investigation, it would tilt the result.
      Also, some heroes are only marginally better than others, this won't be shown though. If Warlock for example is marginally better than Sand King, Warlock would still get almost double the score of sand king.
      This does NOT mean that warlock is twice as good as sand king.
      You can't see how much better one hero is than another, only that they are better.

      Also, some heroes are extremely good, but they aren't unique. For example; There is no str stunner within top 10 of my list. This doesn't mean that it's better to get the top 10 of my list than to include for example Sven in your line up. Because Sven and Leoric are so similar, they aren't worth banning or picking first, because the enemy isn't likely to pick both. This also means that Sven and Leoric are picked at the end almost every time resulting in less points. These hereos are usually picked because of their high hp + their disable. If you were to add up the points of all the str heroes with disable nukes which aren't ultimates, they would easily top the list. My comparison isn't exactly viable, but you get the point.
      It's the heroes with unique skills that end up in the top.

      I didn't include heroes with less than 5 points. If I had included every hero, the total would have been 41 heroes. Most notably Silencer and Vengeful Spirit. I should have used more mouz.Twisted and LightOfHeaven games. biggrin.gif

      What does this tell us?
      There are distinct point differences between top 4 and number 5 and top 13 and number 14.
      You might want to cathegorize the list into the VERY best (top4), the best (top 13) and the really good (top 25).
      You'll want a couple of heroes from the top 13 every game. If the top 4 aren't banned yet, ban them or pick them!

      Hopefully this have helped you some with composing your line up or just helped your dota knowledge a little bit. It sure helped mine.

    • hätte qop auch noch n bischen höher angesehen, "besten" ist mMn ein bischen falsch gewählt "wichtigsten" oder beliebtesten würde besser passen...
      aber schöne liste, danke :)

    • SandKing ist so weit unten, weil er immer als einer der letzten Heros gepickt wird was weniger Punkte gibt. Und eigentlich finde ich die Statistik eh nicht so gelungen weils halt NUR 30 games sind die in etwa bewertet sind. Vor allem nur die Top Clans wie MyM, VP etc. wo ein zwei Spieler sind die immer die selben Heros spielen und die dadurch öfter gebannt sind gegen eben solche Teams.

      Nen Guter Anhaltspunkt ist es aber allemal.

    • naja man kann mit ein bissle wissen schon bestimmte sachen rauslesen. gut finde ich dass unter den 15 besten 3 supporter sind, und ganz unten ist noch pugna drin - mMn überaus berechtigt. lock thd und sp sind einfach stark =)

      letzten endes hat es trotzdem keinerlei aussage kraft, so würde ich den beastmaster zB deutlich über zeus raten, ebenso potm > zeus usw.

    • Naja, aebr das ist ja auch alles Geschmackssache. Für mich ist beispielsweise die QoP atm einfach nur der beste Hero schlechthin. Danach würde ich BM sagen. Und Zeus finde ich nicht schlechter als PotM.

      Aber ist halt alles eh abhängig von den Clans die spielen (jeder hat seine Stärken/Schwächen) und der eigenen Meinung, aber trotzdem find ich das Ding ganz nett. :)

    • naja zeus sollte man auf keinsten underraten, der hero is imo noch richtig krass, wenn gut gespielt und haut permanent viel damage raus. Würde lina>>>lesh sagen, aber die nehmen sich imo auch sogut wie nichts. Warlock ist auch nen sehr starker held, auch wenn ich ihn persönlich nicht so mag und qop und evtl. sogar potm >>> lock sagen würde, aber ich denke, dass sehen nicht unbedingt viele so. Joah ansonsten recht normal. Btw. na overrated )

    • Die üblichen Verdächtigen... Nichts Neues, dafür aber endlich mal mit Zahlen hinterlegt.... Evtl sollte man sowas in jeder Version machen, dann sieht man auch schön, wie sich DotA entwickelt hat, also von AoE lastiger Vergangenheit zur jetzigen Gang lastigkeit....

      Wenn er gepickt wird , pickt man ihn oft am Schluss ( lastpick scourge ist IMO sehr geeignet) und da bekommt er dann halt kaum punkte..
      ...und außerdem bist du ein Lauchkopf!
