Kannst gegen Neutrals nicht verlieren, weil sie nur angreifbar sind, wenn es reicht. Bist also noch dran.

Official Response from FFG:

A player cannot even attempt to march into an area with a Neutral Force token unless they have the sufficient strength to do so. This included any support provided or not provided. If a player backs out on his previous promise to provide support to another player's marching units, the marching player wouldn't be able to use that march order to move into the neutral area. A battle never even technically occurred. As such, the march order he was intending to use would still be considered available to be used for a march elsewhere.

An example would work like this:

It's Player 1's turn to resolve a march order.

Player 1: "I wish to use this march order to try to take this neutral area. Player 2, will you provide support to me? Without your support I cannot take the area."

Option A
Player 2: "Sure. I'll support you."
Player 1 removes the march order and successfully moves his troops into the area.

Option B
Player 2: "Nope. I don't want to support you there."
Player 1: "#$%@%$&@!"
Player 1 does not remove the said march order, as his units were not able to take the neutral area. He still hasn't resolved a march order this turn and must decide anew what he wishes to do, knowing that he cannot take the neutral area.
