    • Trump bzw. Präsidenten dienen auch nur als Medium um Entscheidungen zu "präsentieren" -> Präsident. Deswegen müssen Präsidenten von der Mehrheit des Volkes geliebt werden, damit diese dann die präsentierten Entscheidungen vom Präsidenten akzeptieren. Noch eine priese Medien dazu und ein dummes Volk; voila Scheindemokratie.Z.B Bush: Einmarsch in Irak: Begründung: Massenwaffen -> später selbst (nicht Bush persönlich) zugegeben, dass das gelogen war (keine Verschwörungstheorie).

      Kenne mich mit dem amerikanischen System nicht so gut aus, aber die USA sind ein präsidentielles Regierungssystem, und damit ist der Präsident nicht nur wie in Deutschland Staatsoberhaupt, sondern gleichzeitig auch Regierungschef. Damit hat er z.B. weitgehend Gestaltungsfreiheit was Außenpolitik anbelangt, kann Verfassungsrichter ernennen (auch wenn der Senat zustimmen muss - ist aber auch nur passiv, die Ernennung obliegt dem Präsidenten) und hat ein Vetorecht gegen die Gesetze, die der Kongress beschließt (die dann nur mit Zweidrittelmehrheit beschlossen werden können). Außerdem ist er Oberbefehlshaber der Streitkräfte.

      Obama ist Demokrat. Der Kongress besteht zur Mehrheit aus Republikanern (54% Senat und 57% Repräsentantenhaus). Ist da kein Wunder, dass die dem ans Bein pissen wollen und blockieren was geht.

      Wenn Trump als Kandidat der Republikaner antritt und gewinnt könnte das natürlich vorteilhaft für ihn sein. Dafür müsste er halt nur der Partei treu bleiben.

      • The Democrat candidate will either be an open socialist or a woman with a possibility of committing a felony.
      • Presumed Republican front-runner from the beginning gets straight-up bullied into obscurity by a rogue businessman.
      • Rogue businessman begins the first Republican debate with a Rosie O'Donnell joke to thunderous applause and hasn't looked back since.
      • Rogue businessman practically bases campaign around building a better wall between the United States and Mexico, hi-jacking the conversation to such an extreme that a desperate candidate suggests doing the same with the Canadian border.
      • Rogue businessman threatens to run as a third-party candidate if he doesn't win the nomination. Then signs agreement that he won't. Then suggests he'll do it anyway.
      • A couple of days later, big time Republican donors start conducting research on enlisting a third-party candidate as they are rightly scared of the rogue businessman's chances of winning.
      • Rogue businessman gets into verbal exchange with the pope. He then wins a primary the next day based on popularity with evangelicals.
      • The only Republican candidates to win a primary so far have run as super anti-establishment as the establishment desperately throws money and endorsements, hoping for some kind of control over their own party.
      • The only moderate candidate left in the entire election suggests locking the Apple CEO into a room until he agrees to comply with an FBI order.

    • Will eigentlich wirklich keiner mit mir die Diskussion führen, ob wir bei Sanders mit mehr oder weniger von den USA geführten und unterstützten Konflikte rechnen müssen? Ich finde das ist doch die entscheidenste Frage als Nicht-US-Amerikaner...

      ist völlig irrelevant, weil keiner der kriege die er theoretisch vom zaun brechen könnte (als ob eine witzfigur wie sanders die eier hat nen krieg zu erklären xD) uns betreffen würde. das würde es nur wenn es tatsächlich zum leryy'schen dritten weltkrieg kommen würde, und die chance dass sanders den vom zaun bricht ist 0.

    • Ich bin ja davon überzeugt, dass Sanders ein imperialer Hardliner ist und keine Verträge damit haben wird Kriege und Konflikte zu schüren, solange "die Guten" gewinnen. Die aktuellen Konflikte der Welt, deren Entwicklung maßgeblich von den USA beeinflusst werden haben keine Relevanz für uns? (Entwicklung der Nato, Zukunft der EU und Flüchtlingsströme, sowie die immer mehr schwelenden Konflikte innerhalb Asiens?)
